What is Latisse®?
Latisse® is a prescription medication to treat hypotrichosis (inadequate or not enough lashes). Available only through a doctor, Latisse is a once-daily prescription treatment applied to the base of the upper eyelashes.
What can you expect with Latisse® treatment?
Latisse® users can expect to experience longer, fuller and darker eyelashes in as little as 8 weeks, with full results in 16 weeks. Continued treatment with Latisse is required to maintain effect.
What are the side effects of Latisse®?
Latisse® treatment may cause increased brown pigmentation of the iris (colored part of the eye) and hence darkening the colour of your eyes. This is likely permanent. Eyelid skin darkening may occur and may be reversible. Common side effects are itchy and red eyes.
